Everyone - Frank was dynamite in "Fortune's Fool"! The play itself has a simple plot, but it is woven carefully and thoughtfully, sensitively, classically. Frank's entrance alone is worth the price of admission. I was expected a very sober, cruel entrance from "the vile neighbor", as I'd read in many accounts of the play. Instead, Frank's entrance and opening scene is light, even farcical, and proves a wonderful contrast to the cruelty that his character eventually displays. He is WONDERFUL. I am totally amazed by this man, time and time again! The audience loved him to death, and even on the way out all I heard were comments like "Frank Langella really stole the show", or "I had no idea how hilarious Langella can be!" or "He still looks gorgeous, even without the hair!" LOL! Yes, yes, and YES!
